Campaigns of Members and Friends of the Sherpa Fund
21.08.2004 In 5 hours 1.300 saussages barbecued, prepared and sold and got nearly 3.000 Euro The this year’s sales campaign of Thuringia Saussages, which took place the 3rd time in Munich’s main shopping area has been a full succes again. After 5 hours only all 1.300 saussages, donated by butchers from Thuringia, were sold, nearly 3.000,-Euro earned and the active participants were tired but happy. The Sherpa Fund thanks all participants and of course the generous sponsors You will find pictures from the event here.

This is the new copy maschine which simplifies the administration for the Sambodha School since August of this year. Many thanks from the Sambodha Principal to the students of Erasmus-Reinhold-Gymnasiums Saalfeld/Thuringia (ERG) who donated the copy maschine.

6.8.2003 Saussage sales campaign in Munich’s pedestrian area Many thanks to the Sherpa Fund members, the Augustiner Restaurant and the butcheries of Thuringia for this campaign, which brought the Fund 2.000 Euro. Here are pictures from the event.
14.01.2003 Letter exchange Saalfeld - Kathmandu Class 7b of Erasmus Reinhold Gymnasiums in Saalfeld/Thuringia wants more: the students started a letter exchange. After receiving a letter of thanks from the principal the students sent a letter to class 4 of Sambodha School in Kathmandu.

12.12.2002: Sales campaign during christmas fair in Saalfeld Students of class 7b of Erasmus-Reinhold-Gymnasiums ERG raised 510,- Euro for the benfit of a copy maschine for Sambodha School in Kathmandu.

24.08.2002: Sales of saussages in Munich The members of Thuringia of the Sherpa Fund sold saussages, donated by butcheries of Saalfeld, in the main shopping area in Munich and got more than 2.000 Euro for the Fund.. 11.06.2002: Annapurna Base Camp, slide show in Saalfeld
Nearly 70 participants joined the slide show of the trekking tour to the Annapurna Base Camp helt by Karl Hermann and Elfriede Geißler. Guests of honor have been Diku and Gombu Sherpa from Nepal who followed an invitation of their German friends. The Fund earned 500,- from the guests.
