Nepal is located between India and Tibet (China) at the foothills of the Himalaya mountains.

Nepal has a population of 22 million, is the unique hindu kingdom and belongs to the poorest countries in the world (average income 200$ per year). 10 of the 14 mountains higher than 8.000 meters are in Nepal, including the highest mountain of the world the Mt. Everest with 8.848 meters.

About 400.000 tourists are visiting the country every year for trekking, climbing, rafting and to see the admirable cultural heritage of the royal cities. Nepal incidentally is also the native country of Buddha.
